Privacy Policy

Social Studio is an independent software project for organizing original videos, social accounts, captions and publishing schedules. This policy describes its informational website and invitation-only, self-hosted preview. Public account registration is not currently available.

This public website

The website does not accept video uploads, social account credentials or payments. Its interactive planning example runs in your browser and does not publish a post. We have not added advertising, tracking pixels or analytics cookies. Cloudflare provides hosting and may process connection information such as your IP address, request headers and security logs under its own policies.

The private workspace

Invited users may provide an email address, account details, videos, captions, drafts and publishing times. An authorized social connection may include profile identifiers and access or refresh tokens. These allow the configured platform connector to identify your account and carry out the actions you approve. Signing in to a social website alone does not authorize Social Studio.

The workspace and media run on the project’s private VPS, hosted by Contabo. Access is restricted to authorized workspace users and its maintainer. Platform connections remain subject to configuration, account permissions, review and platform availability. RedNote’s optional browser connection shares its session cookies only after explicit consent; those stored session cookies are encrypted on the private server.

Optional AI captions

Video-based AI captions are optional. After consent, the private service samples video frames and transcribes speech locally. Selected frames, recognized speech and optional instructions are sent to OpenAI through the user’s configured ChatGPT connection. The feature does not automatically publish its result. You can review and edit suggestions.

Retention and requests

Workspace content persists on the private server. Backups may contain earlier copies. Ask the project maintainer through the contact channel provided with your preview invitation to request access, correction, deletion or revocation. Do not send passwords or API secrets in that request. No public support mailbox has been established yet. We will update this policy and the contact page before public onboarding.

We do not sell preview-user data or use it for advertising. Social platforms and optional service providers process information under their own terms and policies. This policy will be updated when the service or its operator details change.
